Ginger is our current and only fur-daughter. Her nickname is Gimins (aka Gim, pronounced Gem/Jim). We adopted this one-eyed-wonder in 2021 during the height of the pandemic. Her tenacity for life, despite her past circumstances, serve as a reminder that every day is a brand new beginning.
WHO IS "CLEM & GIM"?
Coming up with a business name can be difficult. When brainstorming options for mine, I tested out quite a few but none felt right. I then thought about who & what could best represent the playfulness of my brand -- and landed on two of my most beloved family members. Clem & Gim derives from Clementine and Ginger, my current and childhood dogs. They remind me to always slow down & enjoy the ride (especially if it's to go get ice cream).
Clem (AKA Clementine Wheatley the Third) is my childhood dog. Still kicking at thirteen years old, her lust for life, eating dirt, and picking up stray items on her walks (a pacifier, a cicada, a wrapped Kit-Kat, etc), inspire me to live with a childlike wonder and a zest for all things offbeat.
